IB Success for the Class of 2026
Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on their outstanding International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results.
These achievements represent two years of dedication, perseverance, curiosity, and academic ambition. We are incredibly proud of our graduating class and the resilience, determination, and character they have demonstrated throughout their IB journey.
Our students once again achieved results well above the global average:
- Average IB score: 35 points (Global average: 30.88)
- Highest score: 45/45
- 33% of students achieved the IB Bilingual Diploma
The results also demonstrate the depth and consistency of academic achievement across the cohort:
- 55% of all grades awarded were 6s or 7s
- 42% of all grades awarded were IB 6s, making it the most frequently achieved grade
- 35% of students achieved at least one Grade 7
Alongside our IB graduates, we also congratulate the students completing the American High School Diploma, who have continued to demonstrate excellence across a broad range of academic pathways.
As illustrated in the graph below, Beau Soleil's average IB score has remained consistently strong while continuing to outperform global averages year after year.
Our 2026 results further reinforce Beau Soleil's position among the leading IB schools in Switzerland and Europe, recognising the hard work of our students and the dedication of our exceptional teachers.
The Class of 2026 will now take the next step in their academic journeys at some of the world's most respected universities. This year's graduates have received offers from leading institutions across the UK and the United States, including New York University (NYU), Vanderbilt University, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Imperial College London, the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and the University of Southern California (USC).
These outstanding destinations reflect not only our students' academic achievements, but also the breadth of their experiences beyond the classroom. Through leadership opportunities, service, adventure, sport, and the arts, Beau Soleil students develop the confidence, resilience, and global outlook that prepare them to thrive at university and beyond.
We look forward to following the continued success of the Class of 2026 as they begin this exciting new chapter.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the teachers, parents, and the entire school community for their support and encouragement throughout this journey. Your contributions have been invaluable in helping our students reach their full potential.
